Fox Cemetery

T44, R27, S31 - Big Creek Township
1027 Hwy N, Henry County, Missouri
4 known burials from 1858 to 1871

Landowner: John Wall
Indexed by: Linda M. Everhart, June 14 1997
Directions: One mile east of Blairstown on Hwy N to the former home of John Wall on the north side of the road.
Condition: Four stones are laid flat on the ground in the backyard between two small outbuildings. Two markers are broken, but the faces are still in fairly good condition and readable.
History: The original cemetery was located near the front fence line on the west side of the Wall home, near N Hwy. They were beneath a large shade tree that was struck by lightning and burned. In time, all the markers became buried. In 1995, earth-moving work in that area uncovered the stones and they were moved to the yard area for protection.
